bitter creek wildlife refuge 2005
Fuji GX617 panorama camera - Perched along a windy ridge, these regal Adonis Lupines had just begun to bloom at 3900 feet. Adjacent to the Condor wildlige refuge known as Bitter Creek and lying atop the San Andreas rift zone this area was torn apart during the largest earthquake recorded in the lower 48 in 1857, southern California's last big one.
