To charge or not to charge is what this bull might have been thinking. Fortunately he decided I wasn't worth the effort and let me snap his candid pose amongst the California Poppies with very fine, subtle flower details on the hills.
A direct descendant of the original Spanish breed from 997 AD and brought to the New World by the Conquistadors, this bull is marked with the Tejon's Cross and Crescent Brand, a hybrid configuration of a Christian Cross with Muslim Crescent.
