mystic mountains

western antelope valley 2003

On a unseasonably cold morning for April with temps around 39 degrees and a stiff wind in my face I framed this scene with a zoom lens. The fast flying clouds kept most of the scene dull but occasionally a break would allow sunbeams to flood the coreopsis making it flash with brilliant yellows.
