Invisible during the day this night blooming phlox (Evening Snow) appears like magic at sunset covering the foothills with what resembles snow drifts. To my amazement and delight miles of hills turned white within 15 minutes after sunset and a light scent of jasmine filled the air. Note some of the pink sunset reflecting off the flowers.
