dune evening primrose and verbena

anza borrego ca 1998

This shot from the lower desert has good symmetry to the scene. Pink sand verbena covers the small dune while remnants of morning fog are lifting into the sky. The white dune evening primrose blooms at night and only remains open for a few hours in the morning. A classic thin dark frame with 8 ply white matte displays this print brilliantly.
