Flower photo on the Tejon Ranch, one of the original Spanish land grants from California's history. This area has the idea climate and soil for high desert wild flowers. These rocks and boulders made for a nice source of focus surrounded by Poppies, Coreopsis and Gilia.
The tire tracks I believe were left behind from ranch hands as they patrol across the vast land. I was granted access and hiked 3 miles to reach this spot, I always refrain from driving off dirt roads and highly recommend others to do the same.
